New Forum Open - Pixie Dreams

Hello, my name is Amy, though most people call me Aims. I am a 29 year old British girl, and live in a seaside town called Lowestoft. Not a lot happens here really, actually that's a lie, there is lots going on in town, unfortunately it is all roadworks, part of the "regeneration" scheme our town is going through. See that's how dull my town is, the only thing I can think to mention is the roadworks!! LOL

So what else can I say about myself? I am a Leo, which means I am bossy and lazy.

Spiritually speaking I label myself a Witch, but am so much more than just a label. I have lots beliefs, Angels, Spirits, Spirit Guides, Reiki, Reincarnation etc. Some of my beliefs come from some inner feeling about things, some of them come from witnessing things first hand, with my own eyes. Spiritually I am constantly growing.

I love watching movies, I own far too many dvd's and have a mental shopping list of dvd's I'd like to own. I love to read, my favourite authors are Daphne DuMaurier, Anne Rice, Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown, Stephen King, Jean M Auel and Noah Gordon. I also enjoy reading the "classics" as well as many other books.

I love to write, but very rarely share my writings online. It's something personal to me, I create my own worlds where I can feel free to be whoever or whatever I like. I do, on occasion share my poetry, but haven't been inspired to write any poetry for a long time.

I also enjoy making graphics, and whilst I am no where near as good as some people out there I am pleased with some of the stuff I have made. I use PaintShop Pro to make signatures, icons and wallpapers, some of which I make for others.

Continuing my geekishness I also enjoy doing message board and website layouts. Again I am definately no professional and am just learning as I go, but have done ok so far.

In all I am a bit of a geek and am proud of that! :p

    Where has the time gone?

    It's been quite an emotional time for the family, my grandad passed away at the beginning of February. He'd been ill for a very long time and at the end he simply went to sleep. In April we took him "home" and spread his ashes over Cardingmill Valley.

    it's been at least two months since my last throat infection which lead to the loss of my voice, so I guess I am about due for a few days of silence! lol Yes this means I have lost my voice again.
